This Privacy Policy explains how Bizway ("Bizway", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Bizway mobile app, website, and platform (together, the "Service"). Bizway lets businesses build, deploy, and manage AI-powered voice and chat agents. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash). If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture from Google. We also process one-time passcodes (OTP) sent to you for login verification. Business account holders may provide business details such as legal name, business type, tax identification number (EIN), website, and postal address.
Voice and communications data
Because Bizway is a voice-agent and calling platform, we process communications data, including:
- Call and chat content — live call audio (captured via your device microphone), chat messages, call recordings, voicemail recordings and greetings, and transcripts of calls and conversations.
- Call metadata — caller and recipient phone numbers, call history, call duration, timestamps, and call summaries.
CRM and contact data you provide
The Service lets you store and manage information about your own contacts and leads, such as their name, phone number, email, company, job title, address, notes, tasks, and appointment details. You are responsible for having the appropriate rights and consents to provide this information to us.
Payment information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number; we retain only subscription, invoice, and usage identifiers needed for billing.
Device and technical data
We process a device push notification token (to deliver incoming-call and voicemail alerts), authentication tokens stored securely on your device, and standard technical information such as IP address, app version, and diagnostic/error logs.
2. Device Permissions
The Bizway mobile app requests the following permissions:
- Microphone — required to make and receive calls through the app. Audio is used only while a call is active.
- Notifications — to alert you about incoming calls and new voicemail.
- Phone / Bluetooth (Android) — to manage calls and route audio to connected headsets.
The app does not access your device's camera, photos, location, or your personal device contacts, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
- To route, connect, transcribe, and summarize calls and chats, and to generate AI agent responses.
- To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send you service-related communications, such as verification and password-reset emails.
- To monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the reliability and quality of the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with third-party service providers ("sub-processors") who process it on our behalf to deliver the Service:
- OpenAI, Google (Gemini / Vertex AI), and xAI (Grok) — Large language models that power the voice and chat agents. Conversation audio and/or text is sent to the AI provider you select to generate responses.
- Deepgram, ElevenLabs, and Google Cloud Speech — Speech-to-text and text-to-speech services used to transcribe call audio and synthesize agent voices.
- Twilio — Telephony provider for provisioning phone numbers and carrying inbound and outbound call audio and signaling.
- Google Cloud Platform — Cloud hosting and storage. Call recordings, voicemail, and summaries are stored in Google Cloud Storage.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging & Apple Push Notification service — Delivery of push notifications for incoming calls and voicemail. A device push token is processed for this purpose.
- Google Sign-In — Optional federated login. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile picture.
- Stripe — Payment and subscription processing. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we store only subscription and invoice identifiers, never full card numbers.
- Zoho CRM — Optional integration. If you connect Zoho, contact and lead data is synced to your Zoho account at your direction.
- Resend — Transactional email delivery (account verification, password reset, and invitations).
- Sentry & PostHog — Error monitoring and product analytics to keep the service reliable and improve it.
We may also disclose information to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights and users, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
5. AI Processing
To generate agent responses, conversation audio and text are sent to the AI provider you select (OpenAI, Google Gemini, or xAI Grok) and to the speech services used for transcription and voice synthesis. These providers process the data to return a response. We do not use your call or conversation content to train our own models.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. Call recordings, transcripts, and related records are retained according to our configured retention period, after which they are deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is required to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
7. Data Security
We use technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit, secure storage of credentials on your device, hashed passwords, and encryption of stored third-party credentials. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, or to request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at support@bizway.ai. You can also disable app permissions at any time in your device settings, though this may limit functionality (for example, calls require microphone access).
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
