How Bizway Works Under the Hood
A technical look at the platform powering our voice and chat agents — multi-provider AI, real-time voice over WebSockets, dynamic webhook tools, and multi-tenant architecture.
Platform Capabilities
Everything Bizway handles for you — from the AI models to the real-time infrastructure and integrations.
Multi-Provider AI Engine
Deploy voice and chat agents powered by Google Gemini (including Gemini Live), OpenAI (GPT-4o Realtime and standard models), and Grok by xAI. Mix and match providers per agent to optimize for quality, cost, or capabilities like real-time web search.
Real-Time Voice Infrastructure
Bizway manages the WebSocket connections, voice-activity detection, call timeout limits, and automatic call termination — so agents hold natural, low-latency conversations and hang up cleanly when a call is complete.
Dynamic Webhook Tools
Connect agents to any external API during a conversation. Configure URLs, headers, and query parameters with runtime variables like caller phone number, session ID, and agent ID — for CRM lookups, appointment booking, and order status checks, no backend code required.
Multi-Tenant Architecture
Each organization gets a fully isolated data environment. Role-based access with Super Admin, Client Admin, and User tiers lets agencies and enterprises manage agents, models, and users across many tenants from a single dashboard.
Business Phone System
The telephony layer underneath the agents — number provisioning, routing, and call handling, all managed from the same dashboard.
Number Provisioning
Search and buy local, toll-free, and mobile numbers from inside the app, backed by a per-tenant Twilio sub-account. Assign any number to an AI agent, an individual user, or a ring group.
Browser Softphone & Mobile
Every user gets a WebRTC dialer in the app with their own number, hold/resume, transfer, and full call history. Calls also reach the mobile app through VoIP push on iOS and Android.
Ring Groups & Routing
Ring a group simultaneously or sequentially with per-member priorities and timeouts, and fall back to voicemail or to an AI agent when nobody answers. A weekly per-tenant schedule routes out-of-hours calls to voicemail, an AI agent, or a message.
Per-User Voicemail
Each user gets their own mailbox with a custom greeting, in-app playback, read/unread state, and automatic cleanup.
Call Screening & Caller ID
An IVR gate stops robocallers by asking unknown callers to press a random digit, with a caller denylist and a blocked-calls panel. Shared caller ID lets staff call and text as the main number, so callbacks land on the AI agent.
Recording & Warm Handoff
All calls are recorded, stored, and replayable in the app; human calls also get AI transcription and summaries. On handoff, the agent transfers to a contact or ring group, briefs the person with a summary before connecting, and resumes with the customer if they decline. Transfer contacts carry priorities and availability hours in the tenant's timezone.
How the Connection Works
Every automated action starts the same way — something happens in Bizway, and a webhook carries that event out to the system you point it at.
An Event Happens
A call ends, a lead gets captured, an appointment gets booked — moments like these fire off automatically, the instant they happen, with no polling and no batch exports to wait on.
It Fires a Webhook
That event triggers a webhook to the endpoint you configure, carrying the details of what just happened straight to whatever is listening on the other end.
Any System Can Pick It Up
From there, our automation layer can update a CRM, alert your team, or log the data anywhere that can receive an HTTP request. Zoho, HubSpot, and Salesforce are examples we've already connected — not a closed list of what's possible.

questions
Bizway supports three major AI providers: Google Gemini (including Gemini Live for voice), OpenAI (GPT-4o Realtime and standard models), and Grok by xAI. You can mix and match providers across your voice and chat agents to optimize for quality, cost, or specific capabilities like real-time web search.
Voice agents handle real-time phone and web-based conversations using AI. You configure a system prompt, select an AI model and voice, set call timeout limits, and deploy. Bizway handles the WebSocket connections, voice-activity detection, and call management automatically. Agents can even hang up calls when conversations are complete.
Yes. Bizway supports dynamic webhook tools that let your agents call any external API during a conversation. You can configure URLs, headers, and query parameters with runtime variables like caller phone number, session ID, and agent ID. Perfect for CRM lookups, appointment booking, and order status checks.
Multi-tenancy means each organization on Bizway gets a completely isolated data environment. A Super Admin can manage agents and models across all tenants, while Client Admins manage users within their own tenant. This makes Bizway ideal for agencies and enterprises managing multiple clients.
Yes. Every chat agent maintains full message threading with conversation history. You can view complete message threads, export transcripts as plain text, track token usage for cost optimization, and configure temperature, max tokens, and other model parameters per agent.
